The Blood Pressure Study

High blood pressure is a considerable risk to health. The causes for elevated blood pressure are many and not yet entirely explained by science. Former studies suggest that noise exposure can also cause high blood pressure, but there are no reliable data available on this link. In the Blood Pressure Study the NORAH scientists tried to address some of the as yet unanswered questions. The research was based on a broadly based blood pressure monitoring project in the Rhine-Main Region.
